By Car

SAT NAV - TQ1 2BG Once in Torquay follow the A379 and the 'penguin' on the brown tourist signs*.

* Please note that the 'penguin' Living Coasts brown signs will not direct you to the car park immediately adjacent to us (Beacon Quay) but to the bigger Terrace/Harbour car park which is about five minutes walk (along the harbourside).

 

Parking Info

Living Coasts does not have its own car park, but there is a small council car park next to us (Beacon Quay car park). If this is full, ample public car parking can be found around Torquay harbour. Please visit please visit torbay.gov.uk/torquaycarparks for more details. 
The nearest car park with no height restriction is the Meadfoot Road car park.

Please note that there is also a privately run car park close to us, next to the Pavilion (Vaughan Rd, Torquay, Torbay TQ2 5EQ).

Why not leave the car at home and take public transport?

Visitors travelling by public transport are entitled to up to a 10% discount on production of a valid ticket (not valid with any other discounted offer or bus pass).

By Train

The nearest stations are Torquay and Paignton. From Torquay station we are a lovely flat 15/20 min walk along the seafront to the harbour or onward travel by bus.

By Bus

Stagecoach Gold and the Number 12 travel to Torquay Harbour, and Local Link Route 65 goes to the Strand (Torquay harbourside).

By Boat

Paignton Pleasure Cruises run a service from Paignton & Brixham to Beacon Quay, Torquay. For further information please telephone 01803 529147. Stuart Line Cruises run day boat trips to and from Exmouth Quay. For further information please telephone 01395 222144. Western Lady Ferry Service runs a SeaFari service during peak holiday times from Brixham and Torquay harbours that includes entry to Living Coasts. Please call their booking line on 01803 293797. This service will resume on 30th March 2018.
