Four pupils from Stoke Damerel school are completing a 4 day sponsored walk to raise vital funds for Living Coasts.
We are a group of four pupils from Stoke Damerel school in Plymouth and as part of our Silver Duke of Edinburgh award we are doing a sponsored walk from Salcombe to Torquay to raise vital funds for Living Coasts.
Our team members are Mark Corbeen, Andre Amarel, Jake Wills and Elek Churella and we have taken the first initial of our names to create Team MAJE.
Living Coasts is a registered conservation, education and scientific charity dedicated to conserving global heritage. They are committed to the conservation of plants and animals throughout the world. As a team we are all passionate about wildlife and decided to undertake this walk so that we can highlight the plight of not only our native coastal birds and mammals but also those that are endangered and exhibited at Living Coasts.
We anticipate the walk will take us four days and we will be walking along the stunning South Devon coastal path. We do hope you will be able to support us.
