There are a number of ways that you can get involved which not only gives Living Coasts vital support but also there will inevitably be some benefit for you.
Living Coasts is a conservation and education charity. Our mission is dedicated to inspiring in people a respect for animals, plants and the environment, along with protecting global wildlife heritage. There are some very simple and effective ways by which you can join us on this journey.
Living Coasts is visited by around 130,000 people every year, and for as little as £75 you can have your logo on key signage around our site.
If you have visited us you will be aware of the wonderful species we have in our collection. To identify the animals we have designed a range of signs for our most popular animals with key information for our visitors. Your business has the opportunity to have your logo on this signs, which is a great way to raise brand awareness.
So what are the benefits to your company? Living Coasts is a conservation and education charity dedicated to breeding and research programmes, both in the U.K. and around the world. All the profits we make go directly back into this vital work. So you have the opportunity to not only benefit from brand exposure but also help us on our mission to save species from extinction.
For more information about our sponsorship opportunities please contact Jenny Paton on 01803 697509 or send a message via our contact email.
Donating goods or services
‘Gifts in Kind’ are always a great help to us as a charity. This means the offer of materials, equipment and services. Examples of donations include:
- electrical goods, such as a hand blender to create ‘fish shakes’ when we were hand rearing Gemini the seal pup
- Wet suits for our divers
- animal enrichment items (such as buoys, remote control cars, bubble machines)
- items to sell on eBay
Book a speaker
If you would like to offer your group something a bit different then the Living Coasts team of speakers can certainly help. From after dinner speeches to informal meetings at the village hall, we are more than happy to help.
Our experienced staff can give talks about all aspects of our work. From conservation projects to running a zoo. You can even arrange for your group to come and have a talk at Living Coasts.
Each presentation lasts about 45 minutes to an hour and is followed by a question and answer session. In return we ask for a £60 donation which goes towards running our conservation projects.
If you would like more details, or to make a booking please telephone 01803 697509 or send us an email.
